@ianloree2784 That doesn't too much good because no matter how much data comes out, mainstream media and big tech can continue to "fact check" politicians campaigning on that platform and turn enough of public opinion against them to keep the battle lines where they are. Unfortunately people will stick to their guns no matter how irrational it is, even if they could benefit with a conversation with the other side. But they can't even have a conversation because words don't even have meaning anymore, people can't even agree on basic facts even if they're living in the same reality. You try to expose your ideas and the person on the other side hears something completely different.

@somemone4226 That's how it went in Europe too. Close, open, close, open, close and open back up. Look, no offense, but looking at China doesn't mean much. You can't trust their numbers. Who's to say they didn't simply stop reporting? With most people being asymptomatic, and most cases being minor, they can sweep the deaths under the rug and hide a small bump in mortality for the year. I don't understand this trend of people saying we need to look at China. I am vehemently opposed to the way they do things and people insisting how they're doing great things only makes me more inclined to reject their policies.
