@SaberRiryi No, you're the one who's confused. From the start that we knew that most people are asymptomatic. By your own logic, most people were already vaccinated. It's not just coughing. People talking to each other still spew small droplets. So by your own logic, we still have to mask up and keep social distance because close proximity and contact will lead to transmission even without coughing. No, this is now how every one worked before. Before, you had dead load injected into you and your immune system would mount a real response to a real external threat, just dead. Then, it was an inactivated strain that your system would still mount a real response to. You're IMMUNE. That's how everything previously worked, there were updates and new generations of technology, etc. This is different. You're receiving code to replicate inside your cells which is the spike protein - which by the way is one of the mechanisms the real infection damages your body, that's why so many people feel ill compared to older tech - and you generate antibodies for the spike protein. So no, don't give me the BS that it's exactly the same as everything else. Now, you will look up the dangers of having a shot that doesn't make you immune. I'll wait.

@NuckChorris12345 No, because there's MILLIONS of people with the shot. Also, we're seeing that it's being carried and spread in countries with very high rates of vaccination. If the people who are vaccinated don't realize they have it, they're still spreading it.

If the effect wears off after 3-6 months, you're going to need to take boosters against the new variants. We've heard the slow the spread rhetoric a year and a half ago. It didn't work. @NuckChorris12345 The ultimate point is that you'll say anything to save face. You can't blame the US when the same is happening in other countries. It was always going to spread wildly. That's what the 14 days to stop the spread was. Everyone would get it. But we'd make sure people get hospitalized at different times. That's what we were told. Now you've moved the goalposts. Yes, and all you're doing is making sure it mutates the same, but kick the can down the road, which makes sure there will be resistant strains by the time your antibodies run out and you'll need another shot. THINK. For once in your life look at what you're saying, think, and realize that according to your own logic it's not going to work. And again, stop blaming the morons because IT'S HAPPENING EVERYWHERE ELSE.

@NuckChorris12345 The point is that your solution is doing the same thing all over again, but people have a false sense of security now. Either way, the CDC is going to discontinue the PCR testing this December 31st or whatever so I guess we're just going to ignore it starting 2022. I'm so glad for all I've lost this year and a half.

@ericsmith5648 Your body isn't killing either if you took the shot and you're still infectious. If you're infectious, you're not getting rid of it. I know it's not 100% effective, stop strawmanning. All you people are strawmanning. It's not reducing the effectiveness of the spread. Look at Israel. No, we won't be done with this because people are still spreading, variants are still occurring, and as soon as the antibodies wear off WE'RE BACK TO SQUARE ONE.
