  2. The munitions are enhanced by the platform. Compare a Soviet RWR to the F-16 RWR situational awareness page. If you need to climb with a MiG-29 to release a bomb, your RWR will beep and give a very rough direction of the threat(s). Cockpit video from the Russian side simply shows multiple amber lights turning on when they climb, meaning the RWR is just saying "there's radar in all directions, good luck". Meanwhile the F-16 not only has a much finer direction of the threat it also gives you the kind of radar and assigns a threat ring to notify the pilot of which radars are more likely to start firing. If you need to drop a bomb, which platform would you take?
