@greenkrickett5664 What do you mean? It's absolutely correct to convict off of circumstantial evidence. Many crimes to not leave direct evidence, so the case has to be built entirely on circumstantial evidence. You do realize that a lot of people freed were freed because of circumstantial evidence, right? And a lot of falsely imprisoned people were convicted through direct evidence, right? In fact, there are people who were convicted off of direct evidence and their innocence was proven because of circumstantial evidence. Cannot be proven? Wait. You don't even know what circumstantial evidence is.

@greenkrickett5664 I don't know why you've changed the topic, all I know is that you don't understand what circumstantial evidence is. "If you can't prove your case without actual evidence you should not even try" - Circumstantial evidence is actual evidence. Fingerprints, DNA, etc. That's why I said people have been exonerated based on circumstantial evidence. If DNA is used to prove someone wasn't at the scene, that's circumstantial evidence. "if someone is seen running from a crime scene then they MUST of been the one to do the crime." - And direct evidence is someone testifying that they saw the person committing the crime. Witness testimony has been found to be unreliable.
