Where is this committee coming from? What are their directives? I don't think it's similar to the FCC at all.

@jcboyle82 The FCC doesn't have committees inside broadcasting corporations censoring stuff. If they step out of line and violate FCC rules, they get fined.

@jcboyle82 How do you think it works? The FCC doesn't jump in front of the camera to make sure nobody sees the wardrobe malfunction. They get complaints filed to them and they issue fines in case of violation.

@jcboyle82 You're completely changing the meaning of words. First you said a committee with insider access to UX or algorithms. These are people making decisions on the inside, before they happen. You're comparing it with an enforcement agency that doesn't need access to the insides of cable networks, they investigate and issue fines after violations happen. The FCC is like normal police, your committee (or the whistleblower's) is Minority Report.
