@panpluto13 A distinction without a difference. If you're willing to destroy jobs and livelihoods over this mess, you took it seriously. So seriously they did. I don't know why you're bringing up Donnie so this is a non-sequitur. Your investments are "up" partially because the dollar is worth less. In addition, you probably didn't have stocks in all the restaurants and mom & pop shops that had to close since they weren't even publicly traded.

@panpluto13 That's not making a living. That's just living. And it requires others to not just make a living for themselves, but have jobs that allow them to make that living for others that can't. You think you're smart, but you're dodging the question. Valuing lives over jobs is a false dichotomy that inherently betrays the constant need to fend off death in nature. We're always 3 minutes away from suffocating, 3 days away from dehydration and 30 days away from starvation. I've had the coof twice and I'm not dead. So again you must think you're really smart, but your false dichotomy ignores that average age at time of death "from" C19 is actually higher than the expected life span for women, and only slightly lower than a man's expected life span. I'll ask you now - how do you make a living when you're dead in three years because you missed your cancer screening while you still had time?

@scottmitchell2757 Fair point. How many countries with public healthcare also decreased the number of ICU beds and delayed treatments and diagnostics during this mess? And they also used the "we have to save our public healthcare system!" to put all the nonsense restrictions into place.

@scottmitchell2757 Same as government owned stuff. We also didn't allow early treatments or cheap drugs. We had no compassion, care or common sense either. The healthcare system for whatever reason decided to shoot its own foot off - with a 12 gauge - just for the sake of keeping the charade.

@B_B-420 Self-fulfilling prophecy. The first people to get doses are the elderly, medical staff, first responders, then people in their 50s-40s, etc. There will always be a gap between age groups and countries, meaning you'll always have the magic excuse. Also, having the shot does not prevent infection, meaning that mutation still occurs. Testing in the SF Bay Area also shows that the unspiked carry older strains in equal proportion to newer strains, while the double-spiked are 70-80% carrying newer strains. Go pick another excuse.
