  10. Ah yes. When you can't secure the skies and use air superiority to minimize your losses on the ground, that's just "another war doctrine". I'm sure the guys on the ground appreciate the different "war doctrine" where the air force could save their bacon but won't.

  11.  @lowenhartw.4253  Okay. This video is about the air force. What you don't understand? Artillery is winning the war, but there's probably a lot of artillerymen dead or missing limbs because the air force isn't doing their job.

  12.  @lowenhartw.4253  People are used to the US way of using air power, because everyone dreams of using it. Everyone wants aircraft to do the hard work and not put troops in danger. Iraq and Serbia has true air defenses. Other units are losing men to accomplish those tasks. They need to step into range of the enemy to do work, which means that eventually they get killed or wounded. And equipment gets destroyed too. Meanwhile an aircraft could do that without losses. The Russian airforce not doing those tasks is getting men killed. Little losses? Every day you can see the video of them getting struck.

  14.  @flashpointfps7619  The F-35 has been used in combat, just not in air to air. And it can dogfight. The claims that it couldn't stem from a 2015 report on a test aircraft that had software limiters that prevented it from being maneuvered too hard.

  16.  @t.s.9996  How are you sure you're taking out targets when you're just releasing high dispersion weapons? By your own standards most missions are failures due to the inability to target with precision and readjust.
