@chakraborty1989 "otherwise it can assemble a million+ strong conscript within weeks" - And do what? Do they have enough guns? Enough ammo? Enough vehicles? How would the railway supply line be strained by a million reservists? Can they feed those people? What happens to the Russian economy if a million working age men have to leave the country?

@aflyingcowboy31 "You do realise the Russia military has around 1 million military personnel right?" - Which includes office and desk clerks, gate guards, cooks, the drivers who chauffeur generals around, etc. The vast majority of an army are support personnel, not combat infantry.

@joshuamitchell1733 You need history lessons. The Soviet Union won when Nazi Germany caused attrition on itself trying to capture it. Russia is making the same mistake as Nazi Germany. Russia should honestly stick to fighting on home turf.
