  1. ​ @hansweissmann_xviii6754  The F-4 didn't need a gun. 90% of the kills were by missile. Remedied pretty quickly? Flight lead pilots like Robin Olds prohibited their fighters from using the gun in air to air because they did not get aerial gunnery training to use it. But they were trained with missiles.

  4.  @covid6942  Uh, no. They're not engaging Russian forces or overthrowing governments. They use "black ops" (lol) to protect dignitaries and infrastructure. There's a reason PMCs like to hire former SOF - they had VIP protection training. SEAL Team 3 I believe did a lot of embassy and diplomatic protection duty. Russia also has a SOF unit inside their embassies.
