  10.  @Awaken2067833758  But that's unrelated to the topic. The claim was that a SAM network is necessary to protect the fighters. The US clearly is able to send in fighters alone and win. An integrated SAM network wouldn't have done anything against farmers either. You're literally just pretending not to get it so you can throw snide remarks.

Aircraft can carry cruise missiles too, meaning aircraft still have the capability to go alone. Serbs constantly brag about their air defense not being destroyed in 1999. So which is it? I thought the cruise missiles had to hit the defenses first.
