@truxton1000 Your comment sounds exactly like what was said 10 months ago. Ukraine punched Russia's teeth out in Kharkiv, forced the Kherson retreat, etc and you people keep saying Russia will prevail. Another offensive and the humiliation will have to get you people to shut up, no?

@garretttobin7451 "NATO contractors" never fought Russia. Ukrainians have destroyed prestigious units like the 1st Guards Tank Army. Ukrainians are more experienced in tank warfare than anyone on NATO.

You're telling me a trained crew of 19-20 year old kids who never been to war (or outside their country) can fight better than 1 year veterans of full blown war? Not even American tankers from Desert Storm have more experience.

In Kharkiv the Russians called fixed wing and helicopter support. Ukrainians with Stingers, Buks and Gepards were waiting for them.

@truxton1000 Russians never had a point. They made up fake news. They brought down comms towers to end Ukrainian broadcasts and set up their own Russian TV channels to feed the Ukrainian population disinformation. They claimed Kiev was coming to kill them, which was totally false. Even then, they had to send Igor Girkin - a FSB agent - to start the fake civil war. Russia just sent Russian soldiers. It was all fake. They created the war out of whole cloth. The goal was achieved? The war hasn't ended. They achieved the goal in Kharkiv and Kherson city, and Ukraine snatched the goal right back. They will retake the East and then take out the Kerch bridge once more, forcing the Russian army into a siege they can't win.

@randomdude2832 Go back to Kharkiv. Russia lost like 7 planes and helicopters trying to provide air support to their troops, then stopped responding to calls for support. There's more than strategic SAMs. There's mobile platforms like the Buk, Osa, even a couple captured Pantsirs. A combo of Buks, Gepards and Stingers sprung the trap in Kharkiv and shot down the aircraft coming into the scene. There's videos of the Russian soldiers in Bakhmut begging for artillery support.

@randomdude2832 In one or two days. lol, still seething about the Ghost of Kiev 11 months later. Obsessed. They're not using drones with impunity. Truck mounted machine guns and Gepards take them out. They don't use jets and helicopters in combat extensively. They're almost unseen, only doing long distance unguided rocket volleys.

Dude, they already have more tank battle experience against peer enemies than any Western nation. It takes half a year to train a kid straight out of bootcamp. These guys have been warfighters for a year.
