  2. ​​ @erythreas34  The thing is that they wanted character progress in PvE. So you can't let people unplug the internet, turn on the hacks, grind, turn them off and then switch to online. Obviously the underlying reason is profit. But they can't "just make it offline" without making PvE a glorified practice mode. It's also supposed to have coop. Obviously I don't condone buying the 250 dollar DLC (plus tax). But if they did it the simple way people would whine too.

  3. ​ @DrakyHRT  You couldn't reliably buy ships in game due to frequent wipes and loss of progress due to crashes/bugs. So people bought premium ships as they are "permanent". The wipe frequency slowing down made grinding for ships reliable. But this is recent.
