@The1980Philip You can't back up your opinion, it's just that, an opinion. Why should you be allowed to spread itm Also, not how debunking works.

@The1980Philip It's good to think critically and thus confirm if stories are true, but a little bit of critical thinking would also let one know that people just forget about names.

@The1980Philip No, you didn't. You have an opinion. There's no way to validate that opinion as fact. Nobody mentioned any conspiracies, this is about standard of evidence. What you did was like saying we've disproved the MLK assassination conspiracy, so we disproved the JFK conspiracy too. Forget conspiracies, proving milk is white doesn't prove water is white simply because they're both liquids.

@The1980Philip How is it a false analogy? You're using two different things to somehow cross reference proof from one event to another. How is it moving of the goalposts? That doesn't even make any sense. "gigantic conspiracies are difficult to pull off" - Difficult doesn't mean impossible, so you've already conceded that it's not proof. I also question the "gigantic" part because you seem to be blowing one thing out of proportion while also making another seem way larger than it should be. There's a logical train here but it's fallen off the rails. The null hypothesis doesn't apply here. The null hypothesis is a method of verifying statistical significance by essentially challenging a correlation with the possibility that the correlation could be just down to luck, and measuring the probability of this happening. I can't stress how important this is, you're the person essentially calling for censorship because of what others say, but you're here mouthing off about the null hypothesis when you don't know anything about significance testing, how a n=2 sample size is absolutely ridiculous, how and why the "null ritual" became a problem, p-hacking, and how blind significance testing contributed to the replication crisis. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house...
