@mycelia_ow The vast majority of evidence shows Oswald acted alone. He was seen by others as unreliable. Even the Soviet Union thought he was useless. The rifle used was one of the cheapest Oswald could buy, and he paid for it. If he wasn't working alone, a better rifle would have been provided to him.

The game makes it harder. Several real life shooters have recreated the JFK shots. The problem with JFK Reloaded is that you're trying to recreate shots. The shots weren't guided by Oswald, he fired at his target and the bullets landed according to statistical distribution (rifle precision, shooter skill). You're trying to deliberately and manually aim bullets which landed where they did but could have landed somewhere else.

The bullet was damaged. A photo from the bottom plane shows the bullet was squeezed by pressure. It's the side plane that looks undamaged.

Same reason he tried to kill a US Army officer, Edwin A. Walker. He missed, so many people don't know he wanted to assassinate people before. Since he expected to be caught or killed he left instructions to his wife on how to tell his story. He wanted to be a communist hero so he planned to kill a hard right Army officer, simple as.

@BigNickDigger801 BS. The entry wound is on the back and the exit would is the throat - it's an exit would because the bullet is yawing by that point. It wasn't covered with a tracheotomy, at the hospital the exit would was not seen due to the emergency tracheotomy. In the autopsy the unseen exit would was found. If the throat wound is an entry wound without an exit wound, then where it the exit wound for the entry wound in the upper back? There's two entry wounds without exit wounds? Sounds confusing. It's more reasonable that one is the entry and the other is the exit.

@TevanBalian You don't understand the point. You're asking for deterministic results in a chaotic world. If you kill JFK, you have "recreated" the event. It wasn't difficult at all. The problem here is that there's a difference between taking the same number of swings to clear a golf course, and getting all your swings to land the ball exactly where a previous player did. Oswald didn't plan to miss the first shot, wound JFK and Connelly with the second, then finish with a third shot to JFK's head. Each shot was decided by timing, the bullet, the quantity of powder inside the casing, etc. If we make very realistic target dummies and keep them static to then take a rifle in a test stand and place a bullet in the right location, we may replicate the second shot. If we put a moving target on a rail and shooters try to nail JFK, they're able to hit JFK. However replicating the EXACT. SAME. BULLET. PATH. is nearly impossible. If Oswald missed the three shots, and a game was made about the failed attempt, you also wouldn't see 1000/1000 scores of people trying to miss in the exact same way.

@TevanBalian You're still not understanding. The perfect score is a deterministic outcome of a chaotic event. If you miss by an inch you lose points in game. If you miss by an inch in real life, JFK is still dead. I'm sure that with a cheat program the shot could be recreated.

Backwards motion is due to skull and brain matter being ejected forward in the pink mist. Bullet enters skull from behind, but it is tiny and penetrates rather than push, so little momentum is transfered into the head. Upon exit, human tissue is projected forward, requiring a "recoil" reaction from the object to conserve momentum. Much like a gun moves toward the shooter after firing.

The other way around. Bullets push tissue aside which means wounds partially close. ER surgeons and coroners constantly say they cannot identify caliber from wounds due to all the variables involved, they need to recover a projectile. At most they can tell low velocity vs high velocity (handgun vs rifle) impacts. Additionally, the explosive fragmentation of 5.56 leaves shards of copper jacket and lead confetti in the body. A solid bullet tumbling will cause an apparent explosive wound due to be tissue mass ejected. Watermelons wrapped in fiberglass shot by Carcanos look exactly to the real life after effects of the hit recorded on film.

@kobeh6185 "would not likely leave jacket material" - Ballistic testing of 5.56 at close range basically leaves fragments ranging from chunks to fine pebbles, you can essentially get different mesh sizes of screen and group the fragments by size. Small fragments instantly lose inertia, often moving only one inch to the sides or up or down inside the tissue. They come to a dead stop from drag inside high water content tissue. The 6.5 fragments were found inside the limo and impacted the windshield from back to front so either something stopped a bullet on the way to target and by coincidence 5.56 fragments disappeared without a trace, or they had to come from JFK's head.

@chimp_gaming. That's because Facebook tier conspiracies are never convincing. The conspiracy theorists trying to investigate the event don't say there were fakes or hired actors, instead it was a deal gone wrong or an assassination attempt on the Saudi crown prince. However the use of incendiary bullets against the large tanks in the nearby airfield seem to indicate the shooter planned to do it because the sparks can be used to measure bullet drop. His guns weren't used by people hiring him under false pretenses, he planned to target the crowd.

A guy uses 21 dollars to mail order one of the cheapest rifles around because he's broke, attempts to assassinate US Army officer Edwin A. Walker, then uses the same rifle to take out the president? The CIA couldn't pay him? Or issue a better rifle? Did the CIA also want to kill Walker? Or did they hire Oswald and told him to keep using the Carcano?

The pink mist comes from the front. Bullet came in from behind and caused the tissue mass to be ejected out the front. A shot from the front would have caused a pink mist towards the rear.

Several shooters have recreated this shot. In fact an Army sharpshooter managed to pull it off in 4.5 seconds while Oswald had 8-9.

There's no magic bullet. The seating arrangement in the presidential limo and lesser known photos of the recovered bullet show everything lines up with physics and there's no magic anything.

Oswald already had attempted an assassination which failed (the bullet was recovered from a window frame later to compare to the ones used in the JFK assassination). Why would he bother? He left a message to instruct his wife on how to tell his story after he became a communist hero by killing a US Army general. But he missed.

If a government, mafia organization, or even elements within the US establishment were involved, a better rifle would have been provided to him. The bullet was not perfectly preserved. It was squished on the sides.

@fynncarey5030 First shot misses, second shot penetrates JFK in the back, exits his throat and hits Connally. JFK leans forward and reaches for his throat wound. Third shot penetrates back of the skull, exits through the top, fragments hit the windshield of the limo.

The head went back because the bullet transferred very little momentum to the head, but shot brain and skull matter forward. The human tissue being shot forward requires conservation of momentum to be obeyed still so the head recoils back. The experiment with watermelons wrapped in fiberglass shows the same thing. Bullets shot into the fruit cause them to roll towards the shooter due to recoil rather than be pushed forward.
