  1. Why did the Germans shell civilians to test a poison gas that gets into masks? Was there any foreshadowing that the civilians had masks at their disposal?

  2.  @wastelandgirl__7791  okay, I am not asking for logic in the sense that "hurr that shield wouldn't stop machine gun fire in real life" I am just asking for stuff to happen in a coherent manner. I'm usually a dumb shit and pretty much accept everything movies throw at me until someone else points out the flaws, but this time even I saw that they were killing civilians just to tell us they were extra evil than to serve as an actual demonstration.
