@jessguilford4207 I genuinely wouldn't be able to tell if an image came from such a magazine, because the cropping would just make it look like another perfume or underwear ad you see on the street. Yeah beauty of the human body, more people should have six pack abs.

If the image was of a buff man, you wouldn't be able to tell it because at most you see a shoulder.

To be fair, the image is no longer suitable for the purpose, but people don't want it banned because "ah ah funny inside joke". If anything a lookalike could be hired to take a similar photo in a non-nude context and that way the homage to the tradition remains, but you get an image that doesn't cause conflict with people trying to ban it/overuse it out of spite for the opposite side.

Considering how Gachimuchi and Catalina Video are popular memes, I think people would find it even funnier and triple down on its use.

@stylis666 That doesn't even make sense. The point is that you can't point at a bad thing and say "oh your argument? it's exactly like murder". It like saying Hitler drank water. So if you drink the wet water, you're a wet Hitler.
