Who's been endangered? No names or locations of officers have been leaked.

Before criticism of the military was made a prosecutable offense, in a Russian comedy show one of the actors dressed as a soldier and made jokes about how the weapon was "secret" because nobody knew if they worked, and some days they'd find the vehicle standing on bricks because someone stole the wheels. There were a lot of self-aware Russians who now have to keep quiet.

@maukka1545 Zelensky only wears helmet and armor for protection in hot zones. Prigozhin is wearing full combat gear including ammo.

"I have an interest in geopolitics." "Okay, 42nd Air Defense Brigade is running out of S-300MV so at most they can withstand three separate volleys of Kh-101s. Should we prepare the 9K37 Buks modified to carry AIM-7 missiles?" "I have no idea what any of those words mean."
9
@rafaelgultom3634 Try typing that out in English next time.
8
The fact that Russia sent their spec ops to be frontline infantry and take losses really says everything.
7
Pretty sure the Russian aviation has suffered the worst day since WW2.
7
@thecringekid5744 people in their 30s were using the internet 10 years ago, 9gag was massively popular among college kids
6
@jmhorange If someone who doesn't back the war is going to change opinions over this, they were a fair weather ally. Anyone who's truly against the war will understand.
6
@doctorsex491 That's the point. The leaks have a ton of information on military hardware. The OP is questioning why a person who's into geopolitics didn't know much about what the documents are about. That question isn't very difficult to answer - a lot of it isn't about geopolitics but military capabilities.
6
Even the Rusich group (violent war criminals who hate Ukraine) laughed at the defenses because they were poorly built with no regards for geography. Like trenches that have no line of sight to the incoming enemy.
4
@migrationsforschermitbreit6744 How did the US start the war?
4
@StPiter111 No evidence of reaching Bakmut or taking Soledar. Russian telegram channels announce their captures ahead of time, but videos shot on location always show them behind where they claim to be.
4
It's difficult to ship bodies and Russians rarely pick them up anyway. Of course they're still in Ukraine.
4
@rack biceps curl athlete Lisbon, across the Tejo river.
3
@23sunderland Russia encircled itself. Bully your neighbors, they start ganging up on you.
3
Every hour the losses just get multiplied by two ahahah. Those telegram channels doing damage control are a riot.
3
The patriotic American simping for Russia
2
Many countries which bought Russian military equipment are complaining that they can't get spare parts anymore.
2
- Vladimir Putin after seeing the 5000th monke edit this week
2
Okay. Do we sink the Russian warships in the Atlantic? Do we shoot down the Bear bombers constatly poking Canadian and American airspace? Just give the call.
2
That Belarus training with the headbutts on cinder blocks? I think Lukashenko ordered his army to train the Russians wrong on purpose.
2
I mean, it doesn't. It was a speedbump meant to delay Russians for a few weeks, it stood for 6 months.
2
Apparently the 2022 production ammo is disliked in the front because the corners are being cut to maintain production rates. They use less ammo than before because their ammo depots were bombed.
2
@baroneleve1196 Want to see Ukrainian losses? Volunteer for the Z army and go see them up close. Safety not guaranteed, though.
2
@cultureabroad8983 Source is the massive effing explosion that happened in the Saki air base. A car 500 meters away from the air base had a 2 ton steel girder shoved into it from the side. The aircraft didn't survive that much explosive force.
2
@baroneleve1196 They lost the best soldiers. The initial rush to Kiev involved elite VDV units and prestigious forces like the 4th tank guards. They can't handle NATO involvement.
2
@baroneleve1196 Like a hot knife? I just read the statements from Aleksandr Khodakovsky about how he's getting owned by artillery. Lack of NCO corps means that Russian victories come at a great cost. Takes weeks to move a few miles. They did send special forces and well regarded professional units. The best soldiers are not in a magical reserve in some bunker. They're probably rethinking their life choices.
2
And somehow Russia doesn't have that problem?
2
These are Russians, so...
2
@ГеннадийШуплецов-р8п I hope Putin sends you to the front, then you'll see what dying for interests really is.
2
Meaningless metric. The size if the UK is irrelevant, what's relevant is how much it cost Russia for those gains.
1
@imrekalman9044 Almost nothing.
1
Yeah and they had to leave Kyiv to improve their supplies. Then they left Kherson.
1
And?
1
In Russian it's called "Shturma Brigada", the Russians use the same terminology. You think it's a scary name because it was translated to English, but in Russian and Ukrainian that's how they're called.
1
Yeah interesting war crimes. Russian troops will face trial, eventually.
1
@VitaliiKholmukhamedov he copy-pastes this comment everywhere - what a troll does
1
They don't have enough TOR to protect all batteries, and they don't have anything that can counter HIMARS.
1
Vatnik delusion.
1
@tomzamp8547 That has nothing to do with the war, though. That's the world shooting itself in the foot economically since 2020.
1
Putin's army is already occupying Belarus. They didn't need to buy, just ask kindly.
1
A humiliating defeat? Wagner soaked up Russia's supplies. After failing to encircle the city, Ukrainians baited Russians into city fighting. Taking a defended city has an unreasonable level of casualties due to the entrenched defender having the advantage. Ukraine used Bakhmut to pin the entire Russian army by having Prigozhin demand shells for months.
1
@permaveg Unlimited resources? Never heard of that cheat code.
1
The Tet Offensive broke the Viet Cong. The US and ARVN slaughtered them to the point they nearly stopped existing and North Vietnam had to send NVA regulars to become VC. Russia's modern tech is 80s junk barely upgraded to modern standards and their intelligence saud Ukraine would welcome the Russian army with open arms in February 2022.
1
Declare victory and then what? Just sustain the bombing?
1
It's a territorial victory like Severodonetsk. What happened after that? The Russian armywas spent and called for operational pause. Russia wasting its forces on territorial victories ends up with Ukraine countering.
1
It's enough to keep hitting artillery. At some point the final straw breaks the camel's back.
1
Artillery prevents a "cauldron" if it outranges the opposition.
1
Here comes the Ru MoD cope update. Imagine being so poor you have to be in the 50 rouble army.
