Taking a defended city has an unreasonable level of casualties due to the entrenched defender having the advantage. Ukraine used Bakhmut to pin the entire Russian army by having Prigozhin demand shells for months.

  6. The Tet Offensive broke the Viet Cong. The US and ARVN slaughtered them to the point they nearly stopped existing and North Vietnam had to send NVA regulars to become VC. Russia's modern tech is 80s junk barely upgraded to modern standards and their intelligence saud Ukraine would welcome the Russian army with open arms in February 2022.

  7. There's plenty of footage of Ukrainians rolling tanks to the trenchlines and firing the gun at close range, either vaporizing or concussing the Russian mobiks. There's even video of a Ukrainian tank digging into a trench with the tracks to grind the defenders.
