@FrankCalisch Pathetic, you have to come up with unrelated subjects. You people are always like this.
2
If countries are going on lockdown again, then something is not working.
2
@captain-chair It's funny, so every time your lockdown fails, it's because of the rule breakers. So why did they come out of lockdown? It was because the data supported it, right? So how did the numbers drop if there were rule breakers?
2
@captain-chair So if the majority did the right thing, how are rule breakers to blame if they didn't have an effect on the numbers? You're on the verge of realizing something.
2
Did the people who got psyoped into taking an experimental prophylactic and now have heart problems also get the Herman Cain award? Oh, and roughing it out seems the best option, considering that you go on reddit and you can read nurses straight up mistreating people out of spite.
1
In many places it was mandated even outside. Locally my outdoors mandate only expired last week. I didn't wear it anyways but that's beside the point.

The curve has been flattened 3 times now.
1
@captain-chair Because as soon as you open the numbers rise up. You do realize that the initial purpose of flattening the curve was accepting that we'd all get infected, we just wanted to not get it all at the same time, right? You people obsessed with explaining how it worked last year. This means we deal with the rise now, we open back up, and those of us who haven't got it will eventually get it too. But we took care of the first wave, so we're fine. So how come the goal is now not having any cases at all? We're going to be stuck in a sine wave at this point.

Did he die?

Your comment is still here.

The vaccinated still have to wear masks.
1
Didn't you hear the recorded conversations with people working at J&J? Kids should not take it.
1
"Here in America" buddy the entire world is still dealing with it. Why are you singling out Americans?
1
He already had it.
1
@joeyenochs9469 The CDC estimates that like 130 million Americans already got exposed or whatever. And even for those who got exposed to it at the start, they had 80% chance of not even having symptoms.
1
Unrelated. Since the population already is used to having the flu circulate every year there's always an inherent immunity. When everyone got stuck at home the genetic diversity of the flu went down in unprecedented fashion. Entire strains got wiped out due to the changed human behavior. Since the rona is novel, the measures that knocked down the flu several pegs did not erradicate it. However kids are getting RSV at the same time because they did not have a normal exposure as kids and now got it all when they entered school. So we can't attribute protection to the mask because kids have to wear them at schools.
1
I know people were told they were Marvel heroes for wearing the mask last year, but refusing to participate in security theater does not make someone uncaring. Some of us cared. We were called nutjobs. And then we watched the people in charge do everything they could to let it spread and kill the vulnerable. Now it turns out all the BS they peddled was based on junk science. Instead if blaming them, you blame us for being tired of nonsense.
1
@captain-chair The people who told me I was a racist for noticing something was going on in Wuhan. The people who told me to go hug people in Chinatown. You know who they are.
1
Really doc? What do you wear on the ICU? The surgical mask that's been in the jeans pocket for two weeks? The silly cloth masks sold as novelties? Can't protect others with security theater.
1
@FrankCalisch So security theater when around normal people. Yeah. The data backing up cloth masks was based on a study where the mask was covering a tube that spat out particles, and it was tightly mounted on the tube with an elastic band to make sure there were no gaps. Not just that, but the mask had three layers and was made from different cloth materials for both the labyrinthic properties and also static filtering. For a 67% reduction in particles. Nobody is wearing their masks as PPE, there's gaps, and they're mostly single layer or double layer. I am more confident in the fat TSA lady's ability to stop an ISIS attack than those novelty masks.

@FrankCalisch Reduce risk = still transmitting. Instead of infecting 100 people through the entire day, you infect 30. Whoa. The real social distance should be 15ft and when attending patients a full face sealed respirator would be necessary. Goddamn aerosolized fecal matter infected people in a building in the original SARS outbreak. You're following the "we're all going to get it, just not at the same time" guidelines issued at the start and thinking you're "protecting" yourself and others. No. You simply have a mix of live ammo and duds in the belt and you're firing it at a crowd. Most were spared by the duds but real people still got real hits. You've internalized the "indiscriminate but reduced spread" narrative from the start and combined it with the "I'm personally liable for every droplet I spit out" narrative. You're taking the "everyone gets it" narrative from the start and combined it with the "we need to get to ZERO cases" narrative we're seeing now. You're still inhaling it, you're still pumping it out, and the goddamn fake mask probably works better than whatever 50% of the people on the streets are wearing.
1
Definitely don't look up the percentage of pepple suffering from "long covid" who have not had a single positive test.
1
@captain-chair Think. Think. How did the rule breakers ruin it if the cases went down? They didn't ruin it or else the numbers would show it. Think. Why did they come out of lockdown? Think again. Why did cases go up after coming out of lockdown? If the rule followers came out of lockdown and cases rose up again, doesn't it mean rule breakers had not enough effect to ruin anything, thus lockdown was lifted, thus rule followers are responsible? If you just think a little, what you're saying doesn't make sense.

Karens were the ones who called managers to get people in trouble or did things like call the cops on lemonade stands. Karens are snitches.
