  2.  @DoutorKulatraMD  It was a really messed up situation because past referendums on gun control had failed at the ballot. But this time the EU issued a directive in which either Switzerland had to enforce some gun control or they'd be putting the Schengen agreement in jeopardy. So in the following referendum the new measures did pass because of EU economic pressure.

  3. By the way, a ton of stuff is turned to companies that handle the disposal, they destroy the "receiver", and the usable parts are sold as kits. HiPoint parts kits used to sell for 30 bucks until people started printing frames for them.
