  1. The Netherlands is where the machines that make the silicon die wafers are manuactured. Even though you get computer chips from China and Taiwan the machines that make them are highly complex and it's more efficient to just buy the machine than trying to design your own.

  3. ​ @swilson42  It's not the greedy person who set the prices higher just for kicks. If it's today and we have 100 million in circulation and tomorrow we double it to 200 million, then 200 million tomorrow dollars will be figting for 100 million of today value. Unless everyone agrees that the extra money is gonna sit still the added purchasing power without a matching growth in goods or services will have to devalue the currency.
