@martinhnetynka8252 They were originally meant to be retired in the early 90s. They got a second wind at counter insurgency but they're not meant for war anymore. The upgrades are just situational awareness/avionics/weapons. The upgrades do nothing about the fact that it is a vulnerable aircraft. The originals were designed for Vietnam where manually aimed 14.5mm AA was the most common threat. If a F-15 can provide CAP, it can drop the bombs too. Leave the A-10 home.
