No because then you couldn't make the heavy handed "nazi" implication about people who aren't nazis. Alt-right is the perfect catch-all term to describe anyone who isn't left wing but not a neocon either with a dirty word, that doesn't make you sound like you're paranoid calling everyone nazis, but you're still implying they are as bad as nazis/nazi enablers.

And RPG would have turned that vehicle into a toaster oven, to be fair. Not that different from an armored vehicles police forces all over the world have, but I get what you mean.

@Kav. domestic production of AR's? The forging blanks are imported, no?
10
A Wagner pilot just got shot down. Turns out he had been kicked out of the Russian airforce for crashing an aircraft doing a stunt. That's the kind of people working for Wagner.

@KittenBowl1 there's more crimes recorded where they're allowed to go? Oh wow....

+Gotti are you fucking kidding me? There's several designs already out there which are essentially 90-95% printed and the only things that hasn't been worked out is the barrel because it's meant to hold so much pressure. And considering that a barrel is a freaking steel tube (just ask someone with a small lathe to make you a chamber reamer) as long as quality steel is available guns are printable. I mean, it's vastly easier (and cheaper) to just build guns out of scrap metal but since people think metalworking is black magic, 3d printed guns are perceived as a game-changer due to the "just press a button" aspect. But the fact is that we're developing metal injection molding and sintering technology there may come a day when you'll be able to print a "green" part which is cooked and the heat will finish the steel into a stronger part able to handle heat and pressure.

+Stevan B "The term assault rifle, which is the same as assault weapon" no, it fucking isn't. An assault rifle is an automatic rifle firing an intermediate caliber from a detachable magazine. "Assault weapon" encompasses several types of weapons from shotguns to handguns and rifles which have cosmetic features listed by politicians as no-nos and are not the same thing as assault rifle. "non- supersonic projectile-emitting" - the laws on assault weapons literally do not care if the projectile is supersonic or subsonic so you're wrong on that too.

@DeshaunIsAmazing pepper spray is bullshit (wind can defeat the spray and blow it back to your face) and tasers will fail if the prongs do not pierce the clothing. Look it up, there's people not going down from tasers on video.

Do you know how old guns are? Formosa was a Dutch colony in the 1600s, the Dutch, the Spanish, the Chinese and the Portuguese fought conflicts in this region. Both against and alongside natives of the island. The locals traded pelts and other goods in exchange for matchlock rifles.
3
@inceldestroyer1069 "its harder to reliably kill someone with a car than a gun" - bruh you must have missed all the trucks of peace in the last few years "yall act like the US/NZ gov is gonna storm your house and murder your family" - one guy already died, although he seems to have killed himself once he was surrounded by police "Cars are an important economic sector and vital component to everyday life for money" - that just makes you sound that you care more about money than lives. Don't give us shit about guns when literally anyone in society will make excuses for things they like/bring them convenience even at the cost of others' lives.
3
@yuhboris304 I am so glad, all the people killed by cars and their respective families are smiling with joy because cars weren't actually mean to kill! Since the object wasn't designed to kill, the death wasn't bad! Yaaaaaay!
3
That's a brainlet take. It's important to discourage bad behavior, people should be helping each other, not stealing. If you "just want food" you can't just go around and take it from others because they "just want food" too.
3
John Mirror in close quarters you can't accelerate into a sprint, there's no cover, you have to cross doorways, etc. Since you're so likely to get shot and speed doesn't matter at all, body armor is good for SWAT purposes. I just don't see the need to protect anything more than the vitals. Shoulder armor? Might as well strap the neck guards and the crotch protection because by that point you look like you're in Iraq.
2
@CulturedThugPoster "anons" were cringe moralfriends. Project Chanology was funny, but also moralfriending at it's core. Everything Anon did after that became more and more cringe "le anarchist V for Vendetta man".
2
@SomeoneGreenPlane Journalists don't get a free pass to break the law. Just saying.
2
@wokeaf1337 That's correct. The people who just walked around the building got off easy. It was the ones who broke into offices and tried to take files and devices that got hit with the severe charges.
2
Patrick Lancaster steaks bodies from morgues and stages scenes. He's a literal war criminal.
2
@_Atzin "guns are not a form of transportation and are not integral to the functioning of the nation," - seems to me that you're worshiping transportation and "society" at the cost of human lives. You can't give gun owners shit for not wanting to give up anything when you'll bend over backwards with shitty excuses to defend the things you like. "for most cases having a 5 round limit on your magazine will not effect anything substantially." - then you haven't been charged by a pack of hogs nor been attacked by three people knowing that each can take 5 shots before they have an effect on them.
2
@unclejoe8310 it's actually easier to make them full auto than semi-auto. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dv33pCUkLRM
2
Nah, it clearly shows that the government is one-sided and is not allowing dissent on the matter. If it only takes one bullet then why did hunters use double- and even triple-barreled guns before semi-auto guns were reliable enough? Why did wealthy hunters have a "caddy" who would carry a second gun so they could fire several shots in quick succession? Big game hunting was typically done with two shot weapons. The first shot would be a hollowpoint to maximize damage and hopefully kill the animal. The second shot a solid brass projectile, because there was a great change the animal would turn on you and charge and you wanted a solid projectile to punch through the cranium. And normally you'd have a hunting guide ready to serve as backup.
2
It takes a little finesse: https://youtu.be/7RdAhTxyP64?t=50s the differences are honestly pretty negligible. Making something illegal doesn't deter people. Most people don't do heroin because it's illegal, but because they don't want to end up as junkies. If you do want to use drugs though, making it illegal doesn't help, in fact it makes it worse. Prohibition all over again. We don't make things illegal as deterrence. We make things illegal expecting people to do it, that's why we make it illegal - to charge the person with a crime. We don't make murder illegal to deter murder, but to put murderers in jail. If you want to massacre 50 people you don't care about jail time.
2
Yes, it was 8 years ago. How is that BS? You clicked on it.
2
Academi doesn't exist anymore.
2
There was a ton of aid given to Syrian and Syrian refugees. In fact this was a huge point of contention because non-Syrians were taking advantage of the aid and refugee status. And obviously the US sent a ton of weapons to the "moderate rebels". That went well, didn't it? The only country where you really bring up a relevant point is Yemen because the US actually cooperated with the Houthis and then had to switch sides because of Saudi Arabia.
2
@JewTube001 nice strawman
2
@JewTube001 if you had arguments, you'd use them instead of spitting useless garbage. Hold that L.
2
@MonkeyMcMonkey I don't want to minimize what's happening but considering getting pantsed "sexual assault" is something we have the luxury of doing in peacetime. During a war I don't think people think twice about it. I've had it done to me at school, it's embarrassing and humiliating. When the bombs are falling and houses are burning? It kind of doesn't matter.
2
@ninjafruitchilled "You do not need semi automatic rifles for hunting" - then why is it legal to hunt with semi-automatic weapons in many countries? Why are there double-barrel and even three barrel weapons made for quick follow up shots made before we got semi-automatic designs reliable enough? "These particular weapons aren't even good in self defense situations" - please post your credentials in the topic of self-defense if you're making claims like that.
2
@ninjafruitchilled "The U.S. banned fully automatic weapons a long time ago, after crime syndicates used them to wage urban warfare against the police." - bullshit. The height of gang warfare was 1994. Incidents like the North Hollywood shootout involved illegally made fully automatic weapons after the automatic ban. In the 1980's machine gun usage was rare even in Miami, which was the capital of machine guns due to the drug trade. And by the way, regarding LEGALLY OWNED machineguns there have only been 2-3 homicides committed with them since 1934. One of them was a police officer murdering an informant. So basically the ban of legalized machine guns was useless because criminals always used illegal ones.
2
@Kav. yeah my question was about where the forging is done. I wasn't aware Brazil had started pumping those out too.
2
@Kav. I think Taurus manufactures the receiver blanks too, since then I realized that they have their own M4 clone. They already have forging operations so it's probably not a big deal for them.
2
Not true. Service workers have to start with national language first, and then switch to Russian. It does not affect regular people or everyday conversations, only official business. Only the greeting needs to be in Ukrainian. Stop posting propaganda, Ruskie.
2
Yeah, you do realize that neither the manufacturers, sellers nor the players want that to happen, right? Also, no law saying you can't paint real guns bright colours.
2
The other side is busy complaining about biolabs and combat mosquitos.

@daikucoffee5316 "The point is that nobody needs such high capacity magazines for non war purposes." - how so? 50 Cent got shot 9 times and he's still around. If you get attacked by 3 people (and criminals use numbers to overwhelm victims) and you need 9 shots for each, what kind of magazine should you have? A 5 round one?
1
+DrinkTheCoffee fear the man who trained a kick 10,000 times, not the man who trained 10,000 kicks once. So what if you have multiple guns? With two or three you can already rack up a kill count. The deadliest mass shooting so far was at Utoya, Norway and only involved a Mini-14 and a pistol. 69 dead.

Metal 3d printed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7ZYKMBDm4M The others obviously required metal barrels/barrel liners because plastic barrels will burst https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REGeDjuADXI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAvLdAXHZ-I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qwb0xGut21Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eARrF5lt1A The limits are human ingenuity. Again, 3d printing is hardly necessary for homemade guns and non-state agents involved in conflicts have always managed to make firearms, even if it's just with drills and files. Russia never wanted peace. They broke Minsk II and Budapest Memorandum.

The wars in the middle east were reported on heavily - did you live under a rock?
1
Doesn't cause your eyes to adjust as much. If you use white light your pupils will close and then you stop being able to see when you turn off the light.
1
@deltasquared7777 there was no US backed Apartheid in Angola. The US even pressured Portugal because they were part of NATO and they could not use any NATO equipment to fight in Africa.
1
Because they mostly just sit around buildings and drive people in car? They're like mall security.
1
There was no "fighting back". You don't even understand what happened in Afghanistan and Iraq. Iraq had a civil war and terrorists fanned the flames. It was the US that changed their anti-insurgency tactics to get some of the insurgents to switch sides and fight against terror.
1
They speak Russian because they have Belarusian fighters with them. Russia mobilized the Russian speaking Ukrainians in captured territory, those got beyond decimated.
1
"Everything is a psyop" yeah I guess neckbeards harassing Scientology churches by flooding their fax machines with 10,000 pages of the n-word is a CIA psyop lol
1
The US had hypersonic manned aircraft in the 1960s. Just started developing it? They had hypersonic missile prototypes achieving the rated speeds in 2004.
1
Which is nullified by Russia themselves trading Azov for Medvedchuk. A hundred Azov for his friend. Lmao.
1
Imagine bragging about this. Sad!
1
Cope, botski.
1
@imperator692 It's still trespassing. I'm not saying it's a big deal, but just because something is happening doesn't mean journalists can do whatever they want to get the story.
