@stephentoth6003 in what way does Israel being an ally benefit the US? Most of the instability in the Middle East was either created by American/British/French intervention or Israeli actions. Saudi Arabia is a huge sponsor of terrorism but they are a US ally and have even cooperated with Israelis from time to time.

@stephentoth6003 of course it's not a coincidence! "Of course the US wants Isreal as an ally" - why? "Who gave them Nuclear weapons?" - not the US. In fact Eisenhower and Kennedy pressured Israel about the plant they were building and wanted an inspection of the facility to make sure it wasn't a reactor. "are you aaserting that the Middle East would be a n ocean of tranquility without the Western powers there?" - not really. I am saying that nobody would care about those conflicts just like nobody cares about conflicts going on around the world.

@stephentoth6003 the US is self-sufficient in oil nowadays. I believe the US doesn't need any of them as allies. "Have you ever seen a massive movements of death to Americans in Isreal ever?" - you do realize that Arab people actually respected the US before all the foreign intervention, right?
