@Crono1973 the issue is, what kind of work are you expecting from a person making 1 dollar per hour? If you pay that poorly the only people you'll find working that job are people who won't do anything they are told, take excessive breaks and won't stop staring at their cellphone while on the clock. I saw this recurring problem on a fast food job that paid min wage, imagine paying less than that.

@therisj if we teach a bunch of people woodworking they might actually build their own cabins in the woods and live debt-free. But that would be too much work... and the government banned homesteading as well.
