  1. I think Richard Spencer coined the term years ago when he "broke up" with American nationalists due to his views. But yeah the media took it and ran with it.

  2. This is all pointless because to the left even if you have moderate right wing opinions you're already evil because you hate the poor, women, minorities, etc. The left does exactly what the shooter wanted - drive moderates into becoming the extremists they are already accused of being.
