Like a third of the population gets the seasonal flu, and the reason so many get it in the first place is because the flu is a minor inconvenience that allows us to go to work and school and spread it out. Meanwhile 20% of the people infected by this stuff get hospitalized and cities shut down.

The disease hit Iran, and from Iran went on to multiple middle eastern countries. It only takes a South American returning from Italy to place the infection underneath Texas in a matter of days. "airplanes still fly back and forth all over the world, and the people who have legitimate rights to be in the US might bring the disease into the country. Bypassing the Wall." - and if suspected to have been right in the middle of outbreaks those people ought to be quarantined.

  10. There's not much to it. Just get stuff you're gonna need, canned food, dried beans and rice, don't forget water and hygiene.
