  3.  @stevengordon3271  You just went through a worldwide event where the experts constantly tripped over themselves over what the science actually was. The problem with technocracy is that we all can tell when ideologically driven decisions go too far, technocracy is especially evil because it has no bounds and no matter how evil it becomes people will cross their arms and defend it because the experts know better.

  4.  @stevengordon3271  No, it's the perfect example. If the technocrats can only deal with stuff we already know, then they're useless. This was about how valid technocracy is. Someone mocking an expert doesn't magically contort reality into making them wrong. "Almost none of the opposition to masks, social distancing and tactical lockdowns were actual qualified scientists" - Except for the scientists who said masks were useless, then changed their mind. "The problem was the blind ideologists, not the technocrats." - I mean, this is pure No True Scotsman because you will get blind ideologists in a technocracy, and especially how modern academia works science has been twisted into a game of passing peer review which means people get ahead by towing the line rather than making radical discoveries. Who is the technocrat who picks the technocrats? You can't have your system without blind ideologues.
