The guy only called in the swatting because people "just doing their jobs" tend to plug innocent people. Just saying.

@FacTi0n How is it an ignorant response? I'm stating a fact - people do swatting raids because it sends the police after people. Not EMTs or fire department. I don't care about the millions of police interactions because they're not being judged by the situations that could be handled by any random joe. Just like if you release a drug and you have millions of doses administered without problems, it doesn't take many severe adverse effects before the FDA has to start enquiries on the safety profile of that drug to see if they need to revise their recommendations. Oh no, the cool cops didn't write you a ticket. Doesn't make me worry less.

In other countries police aren't as fond of dynamic entries and if they have to do them, it's usually after the hostage negotiator has failed. However if it became a trend to have hostages killed they'd eventually start acting like American police as a way to prevent deaths.
