@tumamaencosplay "It's not that hard to conceptualize, a free market socialist simply doesnt believe in the goverment messing with the market, but still believes social programs are neccesary." - that's not even the core concept of market socialism. Market socialism is not a free market because there's still no private property or "profit". "For example full an-cap degenerates into monopolies (see the gilded age)" - the gilded age involved MASSIVE government corruption and subsidies

@tumamaencosplay "There's plenty of European countries with socialist policies" - there's not a single European country with socialist policies. "their free market didn't suddendly get restrained or imploded due to it." - Actually, it did. Social programs were scaled back in some countries because the economy needed to improve and thus taxes had to be lowered.

@tumamaencosplay "My argument has always been that literally any policy, including the lack of it, affects the market in a way," - That's like saying that me not murdering you affects your life. Sure, I guess that from the standpoint of what words mean the sentence is true. But you can't say that my decision to not stalk you and killing you is affecting your life. It's the exact opposite of having an effect. "The example of basic free healthcare is a good one. Quite honestly, pure capitalism fucking fails at healthcare" - No, it doesn't. "not only does it become unreasonibly expensive without regulation" - You do realize that healthcare was to be cheap so doctors formed the medical associations that lobbied for regulations that prohibited the cheap healthcare options, right? Factory owners would hire the services of a doctor for their entire workforce. Many doctors preferred to get paid for everyone who walked into their clinic rather than a one time payment. So the practice of hiring a doctor for the entire workforce was banned. Ever since the 1940's that regulations were passed that made healthcare more and more expensive.

@juanche978 those aren't free market systems.

@DunklerJägerZach when debating Vegan Gains that fat neckbeard Vaush tried to use the standard communist response "there's no ethical consumption under capitalism so I can do whatever I want and not be a hypocrite" so Vegan Gains asks him if he supports CP because those who consume it aren't responsible for the creation of CP. So Vaush waits two seconds and says "Yes".
1
@chars_78 Conventional. Vegan Gains trapped Vaush on his "there's no ethical consumption under capitalism" argument.

@christopherlee9026 Wrong. Vegan Gains was challenging Vaush's notion that there's no ethical consumption under capitalism by asking about CP. By Vaush's own logic, CP is moral because the consumer isn't responsible for its creation. So Vaush faced the choice of either renouncing his beliefs or admitting that CP is moral. He didn't renounce his beliefs. Also "He believes in the eventual transition to communism, so I guess you could say he's a communist." - what the fuck do you think a communist is?
1
@christopherlee9026 "I believe most people would consider themselves communists, since most people will agree with the idea of fully automated space communism" - You'd be surprised. You have the people who theorize that it's literally impossible, and the people who reject the idea even if it were possible.
