  3. A lot of people seem to think a city takes a day to capture. They're not even in the city yet. They're trying to cut off areas and degrade the fighting power to trap the Russians against the river with no way to ressuply. Assaulting the city directly is suicide. They want the Russians out of fuel and ammo.
