  2.  @zoiders  Nope. There were two variants of .280 British - one that was anemic, and another that had the power. The latter version had the recoil and muzzle flash of a full power rifle cartridge, so it wasn't developed further. People forget that there were two main .280 British loadings and thus think that it had the best of both worlds.
