  5. @Dark Night you are presented with the choice of shooting civilians to defend yourself and also avenge one of your guys being lynched by a mob at one point in the game, and the game sorta attempts to trick you into shooting them. The white phosphorous scene isn't the only point where the player is able to do bad stuff.

Regarding hacking, you only need one guy or a team of guys to hack. After the hack, everyone can do it. Yeah, it takes the 0.1% to do great things. But then it becomes widely available. Are you in the 0.1% capable to designing jet engines? No. But they've been designed already, and now you can just buy an airline ticket. Can you design a CPU? No. But you have them in your computer or cellphone. After something is done, it can be replicated by others.

I specifically changed the "40" minutes to "4" videos so that I could remove the purposeful obtuseness, and you went back and changed it back to 40 anyway. Apparently only 40 min videos exist. Cool. "Most people" have already heard of the game through word of mouth, literal advertising considering that TLOU2 had both TV and billboard ads, etc. months before the game awards is streamed. Your argument that we the weirdos are the ones who look up information in a casual way, but the "casuals" are the ones who get flooded by gaming news on social media in a hardcore way... If you're following that many gaming pages you're not exactly "casual".

  29.  @FNLNFNLN  I live in a highly urbanized area - public transportation has been nothing but stress my whole work life. Getting my driver's license was one of the best things I've done and I regret failing the exam the first time I attempted at around 19 years old.

  33.  @ducky8075  still, you should be given a chance to edit the content yourself before you were not under the new rules when you uploaded it. Also, they're private sector but they made a deal with the government. They have limited liability for what is posted on the website because they're a platform. They're now trying to enforce editorial rights over the content which means they are treading into publisher. If they want to be a publisher they need to give up the legal protections.

But the fact that it's available instantly it means they're distributing games as a service. Even though the purchase is tied to Steam. It's like asking a third party streaming service to let you stream movies and shows for free because you bought the DVDs and box sets.

  49.  @deiterwakes1907  What else can they do except look the other way? Why would they want to give the hackers more publicity? They know they can't do anything and no matter how much money they sink into anti-cheats, hackers simply create new ones to evade them. Trying to fight them overtly would only expose their defeat by making more people aware of these cheats and downloading them, and them trying to throw money at a problem that in essence cannot be solved. Looking the other way is the winning move when you can't win the game. I'm not saying that intelligence agencies don't operate like criminals. I'm just saying that aimbot hacks being an intelligence op makes no sense.
