Comments by "Titanium Rain" (@ChucksSEADnDEAD) on "Russian Tactics: Stupid but Effective?" video.
@TheSunchaster And? Russia is supposed to be a superpower. They planned for this. They picked the date and time. Ukraine uses what it can to defend the homeland. Russia is the invader, and they're humiliating themselves. If you defend your home with a blunderbuss, you'll be hailed as a hero. If you try to use one to rob a bank, you'll be the laugh of the town for the rest of your life.

They're so effective they went from Seven Days to River Rhine to "1 year and still can't break out of Donetsk".

I don't need to be a Michelin star chef to spit out raw chicken. The rifles were designed by nerds. The men who hold them have someone to thank (or blame).

Then why is Prigozhin claiming that Wagner could fail at Bakhmut if he doesn't get the support he needs? Why are Russian telegram pages saying Wagner needs to recruit 30 thousand more?

If you take a week to knock down a wall by bashing your head against it, I wouldn't call it "smart".
2
Zelensky isn't in control of the armed forces, and it's Russia that attacks.
2
Hint, hint: if your effectiveness is rolled back in a week like it happened in Kharkiv, it was stupid

They post videos of themselves appealing to civilians and politicians. They make it clear they're not refusing to fight, they just want supplies and not being used in suicide missions.

@danielallan8061 Mediazona is an absolute lower bound. They look for obituaries and social media posts. The guy I watched get droned just now is lying in the mud. Nameless. It might take months for his death to be confirmed and his family to post the obituary.
1
@Salty_Balls They're looking for CONFIRMATION in obituaries or social media posts. If your family doesn't use social media and you die, Mediazona can't count you. 257k isn't "European media", it's a Turkish rag quoting a fake Mossad document.

@danielallan8061 Ukraine is covering a huge frontline and the border with Belarus and Transnitsia. They need more men than the fighting requires.

Because Ukraine doesn't have the metal and the ammo to deal with the onslaught.

The stupid tactics that depleted so much manpower, Kharkiv was steamrolled and Ukraine took in one week territory that had taken 6 months to capture.
1
The effective tactics in Mariupol, Severodonetsk, etc. later lead to Kharkiv being undermanned. If your effectiveness gets 6 months of work rolled back by the enemy in a week, it's not actually effective.

@KRGruner You can succeed at bringing down a brick wall by hitting it with your forehead. I'd call that stupid. Even if it was technically successful.
1
@KRGruner I won't try it, because I'm not Russian. Yes, Russian tactics succeed in the short term, but cause long term ruin. Just like Severdonetsk was cheered as a huge victory, but that battle alone broke so much Russian offensive potential, it eventually lead to the Kharkiv collapse. Tactics repeatable over time? Sure. Russia has raised a new army over this BS. If I get to bring a new head to bang against the wall, it only needs to work once.
