  2. Okay but Crysis was also one of the most pirated games ever because people pretty much used it as a benchmark. Benchmarking your own rig so you can show your friends other nerds online how much of an epic gamer you are is a thing.

  3. But there is a point. If you run it as a benchmark, the results you get do not guarantee you similar results in games in general. Is it because other games are shitly optimized? Yes! Does it mean Ashes results are equivalent to real world? No.
