@SanctusBacchus I'm not going to pretend raytracing doesn't have advantages but calling us "pure raster gamers" like a sort of classist slur is wild. And I have a 1660 Super so I'm not even coping about being team red.

@diedampfbrasse98 Trickle down economics never existed, that was a made up term to slander Andrew Melon who in the 1920s proposed lowering taxes to shift the burden of taxation to the wealthy. By lowering taxes it freed money for investment which increased the pool of taxable income. Previously the middle class paid the majority of the tax burden but Melon's successful tax policy made the top 1% the biggest source of taxes. Later a leftist writer who was coping and seething about the success of Andrew Melon's policies managed to tarnish his image by misrepresenting his idea as "give money to the wealthy and it trickles down to the poor" which is a total lie as the end result was actually progressive (ease tax load on the lower classes).

@Fyre0 The money supply massively increased since 2020 to pay for all the stuff while the economy ground to a halt. That's inflation. An expansion in money supply. Prices increasing is the "hidden tax" on expansion of money supply, as the more money there is without a corresponding expansion of goods, the goods have to cost more to make up for the excess money. If you're a fan of modern monetary theory, the way to think about this is the government issues more money through a central bank to pay for everything, but tax rates increase to remove excess money from circulation. If you don't increase taxes significantly the demand for goods outpaces denand for money which causes money to lose value.

@stanislavkimov2779 That's not accurate. There's been problems with international logistics and massive demand for chips which forced an increase in prices you can't blame on either inflation or greed.

@oxfordsparky I didn't infer anything. I absolutely love slurs and coming up with a way to call people poors because your games have 10% raytracing and are still 90% rasterized is one of the wildest concepts ever. It's like being 1/8th white and bragging about it, absolutely entertaining to witness.
