  1. Buddy there was an Islamic caliphate where I live today. If we're gonna settle grudges by turning back the clock far enough, then I could justify European armies invading the Middle East and North Africa and then force the locals to convert to Christianity or require them to pay a tax to practice Islamic faith. Because they did that to us.

  2. One side has a rocket system that protects civilians, the other fires rockets from civilian areas and builds tunnels and bunkers under busy streets to ensure that Israeli bombs kill civilians. I have no love for Israeli's security apartheid or the settlements but the disparity of casualties is easily explained. Just like Russia placed Grad rocket launchers next to supermarkets in Donetsk and fired at Ukrainian positions since 2014 to make sure counter-battery fire would land in the city and create the narrative of "Ukraine bombing their own people for 8 years".

  3. From what I heard the military structure is more secular while Netanyahu has allied with the Orthodox faction in the past few years. So there's an internal disagreement.
