  1. After mobilization one of the complaints was that many Ukrainians had returned to service with only Soviet-style training so their performance was hindered. While "Western training" doesn't beat experience, it is helpful. Especially combat first aid training. Western volunteers doing instruction classes have reported that Western first aid practices massively increase chance of survival. Might not seem much, but the thought that getting hit won't be a death sentence helps men complete the objective.
