@bobman929 You're not protecting anyone by taking it. In fact you're just suppressing symptoms which means you can be contagious and not know it.

@mikegoodie7905 "Between Jan. 15" - So you're starting the count before most people had it. And also during the winter peak so the numbers are skewed. "There were 8,702 “breakthrough” cases" - The CDC is not recording breakthroughs properly. Even the politifact article defending the CDC admits it. If you have a breakthrough and you are contagious but not terribly sick, the CDC doesn't care.

@zorgonfire "Its not total freedom" - It's the opposite of freedom.

@mikegoodie7905 That 98% stat, when was the date they started counting on?

@bonniematthews7611 The shot doesn't prevent you from getting it, and still allows you to transmit. This means that it's going to mutate no matter what you do. Also, it came from animals so it can jump back and forth and return like other seasonal viruses. You can't blame this on anyone.

@harmless6813 No amount of vaccination rate is going to work if you can still get infected and spread it.

No Malice The shot is supposed to stay inside the muscle tissue. If it goes inside the blood stream it will enter organs that should not have the active components get inside. Aspirating and looking for blood is a way to make sure it's not hitting a blood vessel. However the practice has fallen out of favor, and many people administering the stuff are rushing it and probably undertrained. The major side effects are probably being caused by the spike proteins being replicated inside organs that got infected through the bloodstream. If someone gives 100 shots a day, and messes up two or three, that might not look too bad but if everyone around the country is doing this, there's a great potential for bad side effects.

@Matthiasrj But people who took it can still get infected. And transmit. This means it will mutate either way. You cannot stop with faulty shots. This is actually creating the same exact effect as the antibiotic resistant strains. The people who took it are serving as hosts to resistant strains. Come on. THINK.

@harmless6813 But there are. Look up the therapies used in people hospitalized. They make money.
