  1. ​ @Dragoonsoul7878  The difference is that the firearm is a physical object you'll come across when accessing the safe every day, and you will be warned of the change in firearms policy ahead of time so you can retrieve it. With youtube, having videos from 15 years ago you don't even remember can get you in trouble, you won't be warned of the changes, and you don't know ahead of time if your content will be affected by the changes. You will know your firearm counts as a "firearm". You don't know if "Charlie bit my finger" will be considered violence in a TOS change.

  2. Not the point. He deleted the stuff youtube didn't want. And they took down the channel. Forget the rules. Forget the money. They took his channel down for NOTHING.

  3. They outsource to moderator farms, the big call center companies offer those services. This means that for example gun content you're screwed because cheap third world labour invites the situation where people who don't understand American gun laws or culture a lot of stuff is illegal or too dangerous to show on camera. One example is Taofladermaus, who has a freeway visible in his videos that's 5-6 miles away from the filming location and was being demonetized because reviewers probably thought his videos were endangering the cars in the background.

  7. He deleted the content. And how is Vice not doing the same thing as he is with their documentaries? Also, ITAR is about transfer of data (blueprints, design documents, manufacturing plans, etc) that enables the manufacture of weapons overseas to bypass arms import/export restrictions. Saying "3d printing guns is cool" does not violate ITAR.
