@TBFSJjunior "Nuclear is to expensive and is almost impossible to finance without the government doing it" - bro you're going to love to hear about how oil is subsidized, trillion dollar wars were fought over it and how solar and batteries depend on rare earth minerals which we might to go war over as well.

@BrosBrothersLP "Mainly freaking waste" - I mean, I am sure you could find a spot in the whole of freaking Australia where there's almost no rain, no tectonic activity, non-permeable soil and build a thick ass concrete bunker "we germans" - the ones busting down hundred year old villages because they're dependent on brown coal?

@thulyblu5486 you're conflating the LEGAL threshold for consumption for the actual SAFETY threshold for consumption. While the law might be about safety on paper, that doesn't make it true. If that source is right in saying that you'd need to eat 28lbs of boar to get the same exposure as in a transatlantic flight I'd say the meat is well within safe levels. What you said was wrong. You have the best excuse, you were mislead by being told that the safety level was too low. But the fact is that you spread a piece of propaganda that I believed and then I see that the propaganda has been debunked. You can double-down all you want.

@thulyblu5486 "The legal limit is the safe limit." - evidence? "the fact that the wild boars are pretty much all above the limit is not propaganda" - above the legal limit =/= above the safety limit ""lose their radiation very quickly" which is absolutely moronic" - it's not. Every isotope has it's own rate of decay. "you get above a set legal safety threshold" - because the threshold was set low. Unless you eat nothing but boar you can consume it and be at no more danger than a businessman who takes a few long flights per year. You also shouldn't eat too much tuna because of mercury poisoning. Everything has limits.
