  17.  @petesjk  Mixing is a hell of a bad idea. Now if you lose a Gripen pilot you can't take a F/A-18 pilot to replace him. If all the Gripens are stuck in maintenance the F/A-18 maintainers can't be called to help.

  26.  @a5cent  There's no 1000km range missiles. The 400km range on the S-400 brochure is also marketing - Turkey said the target has to fly at 5km to get detected.

  27. How does the Gripen provide "top cover" for an A-10? The Gripen pilot will be able to call a SAM launch, but what else can he do but watch?
