  2. Not true. The Patriot was made to shoot down aircraft, which is why in the 90s it failed against Scud missiles. The PAC-3 missle added the hit to kill warhead which is more effective than the PAC-2 blastf frag.

  3. PAC-2 missiles have a blast frag warhead. Patriots can be loaded with a mix of missiles to deal with different target types.
