  1. The gun on a jet aircraft is a last resort. You shouldn't need more than a few seconds. The helicopter is meant to stay on station and provide fire support to ground troops so it carries a lot of it.

  4. That's not usual at all. Multiroles are as cheap as dedicated role aircraft and the savings of having less tyoes of aircraft in inventory are enormous. Plus modern multiroles are better at secondary roles than many dedicated aircraft.

The US simply cannot allow Turkey to give Russia the tactics to shoot down F-35s. Or the opposite. You think it would be fair for Russia if Turkey were to use the S-400 to give the US the tactics to destroy S-400 batteries? Again you must be out of your mind if you think the US was the unreliable ally and not Turkey. Only the rich and powerful benefit from an alliance with Turkey. Most of the people don't want us to coddle Turkey and Erdogan.
