  1. More jets isn't useless. Jets can deliver 2000lbs bombs directly into the roof of a factory or power plant. Small drones can chip away at a country's armed forces by slowly targeting the equipment and personnel. Jets can send a country back to the stone age and make the fighting pointless.

Your point seems to be that because drones are good at being cost effective at withering away an army (with massive vehicles full of fuel and ammunition, plus identification marks) they're also good at controlling a populace. But what happened was that kills by drone caused so much collateral, more people joined the insurgency.

  30. Drones have limits. Ukraine is being bombarded by artillery, which is where they're mostly disadvantaged. I heard a 10:1 disadvantage. They need HIMARS urgently because the range and speed means they can shoot at artillery without getting shot back. Drones can't get there in time.

  37. The Ukrainian forces have shared footage of this, they use drones to find the counter-drone antenna, stay outside the range, sight for the artillery and they fire a barrage at the counter-drone antenna.
