leonard sanchez "honestly can't be that stressful" - I don't mean to be rude but that's because you never owned a house. Things like electrical, plumbing and AC tend to crap themselves out at the worst possible times and I don't even want to imagine the costs involved. If you keep anything at that home, you should invest in security so that at least someone responds in case of burglary. Property taxes are a bitch. There's guys from sports who make millions, retire, then get shocked at how much money the houses they bought are burning. If you want the house to be ready to be used at a moment's notice (for vacations, lending to a friend, etc) you need to have a cleaning service go there frequently. Anything from storm damage to a car wrecking itself into your property can be a surprise that you have no time to deal with. Multiply this for several houses. Personally, if I had to lead a company and also deal with all that bullshit it would be a nightmare.
