You need the magazine you can comfortably insert in the weapon and still wield it around effectively. What are you credentials in the world of gun defense? How many gunfights have you been in? Just watch videos of guns used in self-defense. 5 rounds isn't enough. You think it is because you were told it was. But you never investigated it. You don't know.

@mannyverse6158 the driver's license is only for driving in public. You can own all the cars you want inside public property. Also, the driver's license doesn't detect if you're crazy. Guns also have purposes that are positive and outweigh the negatives. What's the positive of a car? Ohhhh your feet hurt walking? People should die because your feet hurt? It's "convenient"? This is how you sound. As soon as things you like get threatened you people whip out the excuse that it's different because you really need them. The things you like always have positives but you don't extend that courtesy to others.

Gun violence is a violence issue. It's not about the guns. We deal in absolutes because one side has consistently asked for more restrictions and it's never enough. The restrictions just pile up. We have to draw a line in the sand and say "You've asked for all this shit, now you claim it doesn't work and you want MORE? No!" or else the extreme side that wants a total gun ban wins by virtue of banning a little more every time they succeed.

No, it isn't. The awful person who claimed that ran a scam in which he was pumping out studies with CDC money. He was one of the people responsible for the republican bill that banned giving money to studies that promote gun control. When he was asked for the data he refused to share. When he finally caved in and released the truncated data he also admitted the chances are lower. His study is flawed as it is plagued with reverse causation, he didn't prove guns at home get you killed, he proved that getting killed by a gun was associated with keeping a gun at home. He only proved what we know, that people living in dangerous areas might want to keep a gun.

Look at this shitty logic: we think this person's gonna commit crimes again, but we're gonna let him out under the promise he won't get a legal gun. So we know he's dangerous, but it's okay to let him steal a gun or buy a black market one? Thinking that legal, federally licensed gun shops are the only avenue a convict has to commit gun crime is silly. One guy is too dangerous to be trusted with a gun, but you're gonna let him touch your food working the grill at a restaurant? One guy is too dangerous to be trusted with a gun, but he's gonna be trusted to drive a car on his delivery job? One guy is too dangerous to be trusted with a gun, but he can go to hardware stores and get all he needs to make a bomb? If one is too dangerous to own a gun, let him stay in prison because I don't want him out and killing someone with a knife. If one has truly paid his debt to society and been rehabilitated, he should have his rights back.
