@len-rayy just saying it is a necessity doesn't make it a necessity. So you argue people need those things, but aren't willing to pay for them? We need a corrupt middleman taking the money and denying us a choice. Kappa.

If you buy said apartment but someone came along and despite you OWNING THE PROPERTY started extorting money out of you, how would it not be theft? "you have to pay rent so they afford things like heat, electricity etc." - so the government creates electricity? There's no private companies operating power generators or grids? "You have to pay taxes (same thing as rent)" - it's not rent. Rent is something you owe as a result of a CONTRACT you signed WILLINGLY to use someone else's property. If you buy your own house and OWN the property, why should you have to pay to anyone? "If you don't like it move to a country with no taxes. Oh wait... They don't exist." - you do realize that the United States existed for almost 200 years without income taxes, right? The fact that everyone does it isn't an argument, didn't your mother ask you if you'd jump off a bridge if everyone was doing it? An appeal to popularity is a fallacy and basically accepting that from a logical standpoint you are wrong - and just bragging that everyone is wrong as a way to "win" the argument.
