@viktorceder4985 who gives a shit if it's a democracy? Since when is the US responsible for babying democracies? The US was just fine with being friends with dictators through the 20th century.

@david-1775 "I don't worry about Germany" and yet the US has gone to war with them for invading and bombing their neighbours. TWICE.

@hattix7233 stop with the European supremacist bullshit. I am European. I am in college. Just today I overheard the conversation "do you know who Kim Yong Yang is?" "yeah he's the president of Korea" between two students. European people can be just as uneducated as Americans, do you think we're all worldly people?
11
@ontheotherside3 I'm European and that was pretty cringe, bro. There's dumbasses everywhere and religion is the least of our worries right now.

@david-1775 you understood what I meant. Israel is doing bad shit and the US is paying for it so it's kind of topical to talk about it. Calling it an "obsession" is fucking hilarious considering that Bibi Netanyahu is obsessed with Iran having nukes any day now, for the past 20 years or so. There's also more double-citizenships among US politicians than the all the other countries you're not worried about. It's a current issue, it could have consequences (such as the US going to war) and there's legitimate concern with Israel having greater influence on US politics than Germany.
5
@dwally4198 you're right, but the US did send support to the UK and the USSR before they were officially at war so Germany was at least a concern to the US.
3
@hiddenknowledge2012 Germany declared war on the US because the US declared war on Japan. My point is, the US was still sending aid to the USSR to help defeat Germany even before they were at war.
3
@azysheff oy vey, someone should report that antisemitism to the British authorities

treydarling bro if you have to use anesthesia to prevent a person from feeling pain... You're essentially admitting it's a person otherwise you wouldn't administer it. Hell circumcisions are done on born babies without it.
2
*youtubers are cringe as fook Fixed that for you

Rip to the comments section but I'm built different

@ian12346 that's a deflection.
1
@stevemorales4098 that's not the point (flame suit on) did Ben Shapiro retract his statements or not? He said he did, what is the truth?
1
treydarling "the existence of anesthesia completely debunks the pain argument" - if anesthesia is provided, you're admitting pain. But I accept the reasoning that it's done to appease the right. I just think it's stupid. It's an admission that there is pain. "don't see why you brought up genital mutilation." - if we don't even care about babies who are alive feeling pain, why would anesthesia be administered to a fetus?
1
@ian12346 the part about not caring about live babies. Even if it was true, it is still a deflection. Like, I don't care much for dogs, does that mean I can't oppose kill shelters?
1
@ian12346 "I think less babies is a good thing" - I am neutral on the issue but from the standpoint of the society we currently live in, it's unsustainable. A government based around taxation cannot keep up with a shrinking workforce and an increase in elderly.
1
treydarling "the quasi pain sensation of a late term fetus is not = to that of a human with a developed brain/nervous system" - then anesthesia shouldn't be necessary "the use of anesthesia negates the pain argument as there wouldn't be pain.....because anesthesia is being used........duh." - but that's what I mean, it's a "trap". By taking corrective action you're admitting to a fault.
1
@ian12346 I don't care about society either but society insists on picking my pockets...

@Stevo! I hate Ben Shapiro and I think they did him dirty. Real education? Sorry, but going after Ben's embarrassing writing and opinions doesn't take an education. It's just ripe for the picking.

It wasn't a perfect argument, lmao. It was a verbal beatdown. A deserved one, but it was low class as hell. That wasn't an argument about anything, that was a career-ender. If you think journalism would improve by making every interview a bloodbath, you're sadly mistaken. To begin with, there's the danger of creating an escalation to see which channel can get the toughest interviews and further political division. Second, it would discourage people from agreeing to do interviews. With so much alternative media and the ability to livestream, personalities can get softer interviews or just connect directly to the audience. Anyone who goes into an interview gets eviscerated? Just broadcast yourself, unchallenged.

@dkupke what matters is what he believes, so when he says he no longer believes something it doesn't count?
1
@dkupke You cracked open his skull to check? Look by that standard we should never accept any recanting or disavowing.
1
God I fucking hate the "X is not perfect" statement, it's like a refusal to acknowledge faults.
1
@ciaranthayer6628 Some people may see killing the unborn as barbaric. Just saying.
1
@username40000 it's not like we should just ignore it but Ben did sort of ask to leave those things in the past Okay, this was done once. Next time little Ben writes a book is he going to get asked about his previously disavowed beliefs again? And the time after that? Is he gonna get to 60 years old and still get the same questions?
1
Riley D Why are they wrong?
1
@ciaranthayer6628 The problem is that people don't see abortion as a bad act that may be necessary to prevent cases like mentioned, abortion has been painted as "healthcare" and people will do anything to dehumanize the fetus including calling it a "parasite" (which is biologically incorrect) or a "clump of cells" to defend their unfettered access to the procedure. No different from cutting hair or nails. People in the middle are caught in the crossfire, but unfortunately while one side may be full of barbarians (who are later forced to disavow their views) the other is being inexplicably evil. I've heard the theory that fetus tissue is extremely valuable for the pharma industry, whatever the reason people have been acting crazy.

@tuckeraar but he has a wife! (who is a doctor, by the way)
1
Did you see his review of rap songs? Do you actually think he is able to enjoy a party?
1
Nuke Ireland if I were Scottish I wouldn't claim that guy, even.
1
@matthewomalley1 nice lack of counter points and admission of bias Seems like you lost you cool, like benny boy did
1
Joe Rogan has a bias, nothing that can be done about it.
