  1. The problem is that anyone trying to "improve" healthcare only wants to throw money at the problem? Want to improve healthcare? Remove all subsidies and liability immunity to Big Pharma, force them to pay royalties (with retroactive effects) on any drug, treatment or equipment that was developed with government money. Tell the American Medical Association and colleges to go fuck themselves because medical school is now like in European countries, also MDs from foreign countries with a medical system above a certain arbitrary rating automatically are authorized to be doctors in the United States and compete with American doctors for competitive wages. I don't know how to deal with corrupt hospital boards. A law forcing hospitals to pick the lowest bidders? Give incentives to small clinics that provide cheap healthcare but maybe don't have the uber qualified brain surgeons and multi-million dollar top of the line 2019 MRI machines and deal mostly with broken bones and routine cancers? At least something that would actually change and drive prices down. All the people who want to "improve" healthcare only want to drive more money into the corrupt industry so that they can offer worse services for more money. They just want to sweep the government bill under the rug.
